Nardy Nautical Hat with Anchor - Free Crochet Pattern

Materials:

• Scissors
• Plastic sewing needle
• I Hook
• Worsted weight yarn in Navy, White, and Grey

Size: 3 months

Notes: 

• Chain 2 at the beginning of each round 
• Join at the end of each round 
• Repeat instructions in each row until the end of row
• Numbers at the end of the row indicate how many stitches you should have at the end of the row

Hat

1. Chain 3, hdc 8 in first chain, join.
2. Inc  16
3. Hdc, inc 24 
4. Hdc 2, inc 32  -  Change to white 
5. Working in back of posts of previous row, hdc 3, inc 40
6. Hdc 4, inc 48  -  Change to navy
7. Working in back of posts of previous row, hdc 5, inc 56
8. Hdc 6, inc 64  -  Change to white 
9. Working in back of posts of previous row, hdc
10. Hdc  -  Change to navy
11. Working in back of posts of previous row, hdc 
12. Hdc   -  Change to white

Part 1, with Grey

1. Chain 17, sc in 2nd chain from hook, sc to last st. 10 dc in last ch. Working on opposite side of chain, sc 9. Ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hk, sc 5, hdc in same hole as st 9. Ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch, hdc in same st, sc 5, 2 sc in last st, ch 2, sc in 2nd ch, joi to 1st st. Leave a long tail and FO.
2. Attach yarn in st next to 1st ch, sc 5, 2 sc, ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch, join. FO.

Part 2

1. Ch 11, hdc to end. FO. (10)

Sew on to hat in place.
